Parent & Adult Supportive Services

New Genesis has a long and successful track record of parent participation in programs and services that provide support to children and families.  The Parent & Adult Support Services (P.A.S.S.) program is designed to assist parents in strengthening their family and in developing the necessary skills that lead to self-reliance and economic prosperity. Services include: parent school advocacy, computer literacy and job readiness training; parenting and life skills courses; adult education classes; career counseling; financial planning; family counseling; parent aides; family nutrition program and other family strengthening activities. 

Parent Support Programs

KPS - "Lift Up Through Literacy"

Offers parents and their children from birth to elementary school age workshops were they learn and grow together through the use of hands on literacy strategies.

Prevention Works
Parent and child education program designed for elementary students and their caregivers to connect, build skills and positive attitudes, and celebrate family strengths.
Parents for Public Education
PPS elevates the role of parents in public schools from passive consumers to active participants and raises standards in order to solve problems and advocate for their community.

Celebrate Recovery

 

Celebrate Recovery is a ministry to hurting people. It is made up of regular people who are on a journey toward wholeness; seeking recovery from and celebrating God’s healing of life’s hurts, habits and hang-ups.

 

Stone's Church offers these Christ-centered groups where people can grow. At Celebrate Recovery they provide a good meal and a time of ministry to men and women in small groups. For more information click on picture to be connected to their website.
