The Project IMPACT Technology Institute gives disadvantaged and other individuals access to technology and related training.  Census 2000 data indicates that poverty and low education attainment are factors that influence computer ownership and internet usage.  The Project IMPACT Technology Institute integrates a variety of software applications that teach and enhance skills in the following programs:

• Supplemental Education Program uses technology to address academic  deficiencies in reading,
  language arts and math for public school youth.

• Computer Training offers adults in-depth, high-quality computer training on a variety of software
  applications.

• Career Development / Job Placement equips adults with the necessary skills to obtain a job and
  advance through the career market.

• The Youth Entrepreneur Program teaches young people to connect their natural abilities to the
  vast opportunities of business ownership.

• College Preparation Classes to help students successfully prepare for the A.C.T. and S.A.T.
  placement tests.
